The poster is from the Weir Collection of posters, playbills and photographs mainly of Edinburgh theatres in the late 19th century, and depicts two young children lost in a forest.  

As well as posters, the collection contains scenes from plays and portraits of the leading actors and actresses. It also includes black-and-white photographs of characters from pantomimes. 

The Weir Collection is held in the National Library of Scotland.
