Edenburgum, Scotiae Metropolis
This image is taken from a 16th century map of Edinburgh by G Braun and F Hogenberg. Made in 1582, Edenburgum is a bird-eye plan of the city of Edinburgh, and was included in the atlas 'Civitates orbis terrarum' between 1578 and 1617.
The map, Edenburgum, Scotiae Metropolis, is held in the National Library of Scotland.
