The Bossons Glacier is one of the larger glaciers of the Mont Blanc massif. The poster features an image from Photographs of the French and Swiss Alps and mountain climbing, resorts, etc. 1880.
The poster has been produced in celebration of our Petticoats and Pinnacles exhibition, which opened in 2021, looking at Scots women who overcame social convention to pursue their dreams of travel and exploration.
